Ika-6 na Utos September 15, 2017 | The Makabayan bloc has formally announced that they have abolished the supermajority coalition in the Lower House as a sign of opposition to President Rodrigo Duterte's policies.
In a press conference called by Makabayan, they emphasized that the administration was not human and imperialist because the killing of the poor underwent a war under the drug campaign.
That's why they are encouraged to join the majority because of the promises of the president who were later imprisoned such as peace talks with rebels, delegation of leftist individuals to the government, promoting independent foreign policy, contractualization and ending.
The names of Castro and Casilao, Representatives Carlos Zarate, Antonio Tinio, Sarah Elago, Arlene Brosas and Emmi De Jesus have been quoted in the Majority viber group while a text message is said by Majority Floor Leader Rudy Fariñas who has been heavily induced but they respect the decision.
