La Luna Sangre September 19, 2017 | Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) Chairman Dante Jimenez believes that fraternity and sorority should be abolished especially in universities.

It was after the death of a University of the Philippines (UST) 1st year law student Horacio Castillo III due to hazing after being forced to join the fraternity "Aegis Juris".

In an interview with the Brigada News FM National to Jimenez, it said that all fraternity and sorority should be abolished at universities because it only adds to the concern of parents to their children.

In addition, Jimenez also questioned the unfortunate law for fraternity and sorority reasons for not even being able to repress universities that should be held accountable for incidents like Horacio.

Jimenez said, schools seem to have forgotten its real role in youth as the second home and family of students.
